I have a soft spot for the 6G Galants. In the UK we got the 1.8 and 2 litre units (in GLS and GLSi trim levels) but we didn't get the 6G VR-4 as an 'official' car like you guys did; so the small number buzzing around the UK are all Jap imports.

I'm not massively clued up on the 6G USDM VR-4 but it looks like you've made a few mods yourself there - I think I see Jap-Spec Side markers, front bumper & fogs and front grile? Certainly looks good! /yes :afro:

thanks, and yes good eye i did swap the Front clip corners and grill. as for mods mostly repairs so far. worn bushing, clutch pedal assembly ect ect. as for mods 3' exhaust, 2g eclipse exhaust manifold, DSM Link tuning software, that’s pretty much it, as for the motor its pretty much the same as 1-6 Lancer evolutions. AWD AWS.

Lovely car! Love those 'spot' lights in the front bumper. I think on the UK GTIs they didn't work at all, just thr front fogs next to them.

Like Kieran, I have a soft spot for the 6Gs too!
