Hi there,

I am about to attempt to build myself a cool box around my HKS filter.
I was wondering if anyone else here has tried this yet, and if so can give any advice, materials, fixtures, feeds, etc...

Cheers.

Most of us with HKS filters are unsure what do with the heat problem.
LegnumVR4 did this: http://www.clubvr4.co.uk/info/articles/showarticle.php?id=26

Unfortunately I have the new shape, so I don't have the same room to do the same.
I am also thinking of some sort of cold air feed funnel with shield type thing, I have some thoughts, but for now they are top secret INSERT INTO post VALUES (which means I don't have a clue).

you could move the battery to the boot and place the filter behind the heat shield normaly used to protect the battery. the use one one dryer tubing thingies and feed it up from front..

I thought that as well! Looking for someone to "professionally move-it" rather than a bodge-job by myself using Halfords parts!!!!!!!
