This is probably a question that some of the older car nuts on here as from what I can tell, Yazaki stopped making gauges years ago.

Anyway...

I have a couple of Yazaki gauges in my garage that are intended for the Coupe as they're right for the age of the car - A set of Defis would NOT be cool in this car!

Question is this - Back in the day, were they any good? If they weren't that good I'll get a set of retro look gagues from somewhere. Given the age of the car/engine I just want to keep an eye on the voltage and the oil pressure.

Glenn - yeah, that's them.

PSB, yeah - sounds about right. The Japaneseness goes beyond the name (They're all stamped with a 'JAPAN' manufacturing mark, and their design is very similar to a smiths gauge.

I had those gauges in my Firenza a long time ago. Halfords used to sell them. The ammeters never lasted long but the rest were fine.

Sweet. I think then they'll fit nicely with the overall theme of the Coupe.:afro:
