I am having a prototype ring made up to allow the fitting of an Evo flywheel to a VR4.

It will be aluminium, and I'll source bolts to fit it too.

The cost should come in below £60 plus postage for the aluminium adapter and the seven bolts - who would be interested? I'm not asking for people to confirm they will buy one, I'm just trying to gauge the interest to work out how many I should have machined.

I don't know absolute costs yet, for anything. I am working on educated guesses.

Hopefully the cost will be much lower.

Hi Nick,

Any ideas when these will be available to buy? Reason I ask is that I have my manual box etc ready to convert mine over christmas at NJ's and could do with one before then :scholar: as I have seen an Evo clutch kit with flywheel that I want to buy :inquisiti

I have a prototype ring. It fits very nicely indeed. The ring seems to be coming in at £35. I am struggling with the bolts at the moment. They need to be about 5mm longer than standard but M11 with a 1.0 thread pitch. In a high tensile steel.

I could really do with just the spacer for now if you can get anymore made :)

This place has hi tensile bolts with the right thread pitch - http://www.namrick.co.uk/browse.asp?PCID=9

How urgent is it? I have checked the fitment as much as I can without using it, and it is all good. But I want to order the real run with a specified aluminium grade. Thanks for the link to the bolts, but those are all easily available. It's the M11 bit that is killing me at the moment!
