Sometime back..I heard there were afew accidents involving the 7G V6 Galant with traction control (TCL) being engaged, but failed to get the car moving on time at stationary position on rainy downpours, causing the owner of the car to get hit by other cars at cross junctions !
I also heard that some even failed to get kickdown to move away quickly when they try to cut out and pass a slower vehicle as the TCL was engaged due to heavy weather and as a result...the Galant was hit by the opposite oncoming traffic and the passengers in the 7G Galant were hurt !
I wonder whether this is just a software failure / error that caused the TCL to malfunction or is a known fault ???
