Hi all - here is another track day at Taupo open to the public. It was great fun last time although the weather was wet and it was a tad slippery! Hopefully it will be dry this Sunday. Don't let the fact that a pace car will be in front put you off as they don't hold back. The full track is open too and $10 for 5 laps is great value. You don't need a helmet or race suit or fire extinguisher etc and you can take passengers with you (circuit racing only). There are a few rules such as no drifting or overtaking but it is still a great day out.

"Have A Go Day 2
The second Have a go day is planned for Sunday 2nd November 2008
Same price as last time
$10.00 for 5 laps behind a pace car on the A1GP Circuit. This part of the day weather permitting will run from 9.00am on the track till lunch break
12.00 Noon.
$10.00 for three goes on the 1/8mile Drag strip. This part of the day will start at 1.00pm and run untill 3.30pm. We will then re open the circuit for more laps untill 4.30PM.
Please Note: Helmets required for the Drag Strip sprints."
