Sub install w/o using an amp

Hello,

just wanting to know if it's possible to install a sub without the use of an AMP. Not sure how dumb that sounds, but got given a brand new Sony Explode 800w sub and not sure how to install it.

i did my own sound install on my legnum & it waz pain in the ass job 2 do, lol
