I know that Skoda or Project VX is going to be fast, but not that fast.

Anyway, 1pm - Under the Harbour Bridge South Side.

We may go for a Cruise Later.

Damn it I so wanted to go to this... is there going to be another get together? A cruise would be great :)

Only the two of us, Mark and Me.

I think we will wait for a bit more enthusiasm, later in the year, now.

I would like to discuss with more members the opportunities of a "Track Day"

Only 2 on a 24 roll film. I was hoping for a bigger crowd so I would fill the roll. I will post them once they are on CD, could be a month or so.

I did consider a Digital Camera, but they are still not at the right Price/Quality ratio for me yet. I would like a 4/5 MP for around NZ$250 not the NZ$700-1000, they are now.

NOTE: I would rather spend my $1,000+ on my car (e.g. Tyres and Brakes)

I seriously wouldn't mind a cruise.. not too sure on a track day though. My insurance company isn't too happy about those ;)

I'll still tag along and watch you hoons go hard out :)

Photos would be great aswell, going to get a cheap second hand digital camera at some stage. Just enough to take photo's :)

RE: Track-Days

We had a problem with a member in the UK not paying the costs which got one of the organisers out of pocket. We have therefore resolved to have some guidelines in place, so the Club and Members are not disadvantaged by others. In essence, when accepting bookings only fully Paid-Up Members will be considered, unless payment is received prior to booking.

For NZ, a lot of us will need to consider the "Insurance" and "Warranty" implications as well. Currently, as we can't even attend organised days (e.g. this one past), it will be some time before any convenor of a "track-day" will be comfortable booking an event for others.

In the meantime, please consider sending 5 pounds to the UK as part of out NZ membership. If we can get the NZ chapter of the ground to equal the UK, we will probably do more events later. In the meantime we will have mini-meets.
