Nothing strange or underhand about anything.

When you pre-ordered (the same as me) we all paid Keith direct and he would have added paypal fees so that he wasn't personally out of pocket.

At the last moment the club decided to purchase some to sell through the shop and, as announced recently, we are selling them at cost.......i.e. we are absorbing the paypal fees.....hence they are £11.99. Hope this satisfactorily explains the difference.
