Does anyone have an installation guide for a boost gauge on the VR-4 I'm sure I've seen one but can't find it.

Guy's just another query regarding fitting the boost gauge. I see on spirits engine that the grommet for this part is missing. I've been looking around the net and found that some engine have a valve thingy with a grommet in it to fit a boost gauge. Since my engine has a grommet in, could it be for that reason ? I 've circled it in red.

Took the grommet out and there is an adjusting screw of some kind, once again i'm wildly off the mark (this is fun :P) Anyone know what it does anyway ? :-D

It will be your idle mixture screw!

The best place to put a gauge is to 't' off one of the rear vaccum hoses.........thats where mine is!

At the back of the inlet manifold there is the brake servo connection and a much smaller one that is an ideal candidate!! :-b
