Seems to die, when it is warm, just wont idol.
Its fine when its cold, but after a while she stops.
A/T temp light come on first time it happened. Check the level of the Auto.
Stepper motor?
Any other ideas on what could be the fault?

Mr. S, that is shameless. :D I liked it.
I would suggest the first thing you check is your temperature sensor.

Checked the oil sensor found it was at 17.012 omhs when cold, when hot I got a reading of 0.62 omhs. Seems to be working fine, wounder what the spec is for this
Reset of the ecu made it go away for a 1-2 days then the fault returns.
Any other ideas?
ignition power transistor,

its similar to what the IFS (ignition failure sensor) does on the 8g

Fixed the problem :D
Since its had a new alternator and a battery.
Idle needed resetting and that was all.
How this is done, you slowly rev from idle to 2.5-3000 rpm about 4-5 times.
