Need to log on twice

When I receive an email notification of a new post I click the link, but even though I enter my username and password correctly and then hit 'proceed' the same menu pops up again as it says I can't access the forum without logging on. Is this a known issue or am I doing something wrong?

Try clicking in the box where is says 'remember me', you should then come to the site without having to enter anything even once.

If I uncheck the box, I'd have to log in but I have to do it once.

Try clearing your internet cookies and cache.

May be down to our firewall at this end or something equally techie.
I do clean out my Internet settings pretty often which is why it doesn't remember me most days.

Yes, it appears so.
I only had to enter my user name once this morning.
Not sure what went on there.
