Squeek-squeeeeeek on front brakes after service

Folks,

I haven't used my car for a week - and this weekend on gentle and heavy braking (though not all the time - every now and then), there's a squeeeeek coming from the front brakes... like the sound your pads need changing.

Any ideas?

Just a month ago I had new discs and pads fitted all round at the dealers.

I wouldn't worry too much, perhaps they need to be bedded in a bit, try giving them a few hard stops and see what happens.

i had this a few years ago on my sport, turned out to be lack of copper grease on the pads
