ok another simple (hopefully) question... turned the boost up on the manual boost controller that was already fitted .. spikes to about 14psi then drops to about 12 psi and holds.. is this normal for these cars to do cus of the exhaust fitted freeing airflow up and the turbo's being small? or should it really hold solid to the red line?

That's normal for a mbc

No it is normal for the boost to drop off beyond 5000 rpm , you can control it a little more with an EBC

Thats about right /yes

Only way u will hold 14psi to the redline is with a more expensive Lekky Boost Controller ..

so its just a case of small turbo's small waste gate's ok thanks peoples..

yea gonna get an eleccy one. just as this was already on i thought why not use it? lol

so if boost cut is around 15psi i assume you can effectively only run about 12 psi by the time it spikes a few psi up?

(kelly if u read this we obviously need external wastegates and bigger turbo's :p)
