This issue was taken up by Kieran in this thread:

But my story is only about how Camskill product http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m22b406s1401p11492 fits our CV joints...

I bought this kit from them and here is photografic evidence of how useless they are...:inquisiti

Yep, seems that the boots they list as being for the Legnum are the same as the ones they list for the EVO and yes - they aren't a very good fit:

I eventually ordered a genuine boot kit. For the sake of £50 it wasn't worth messing around :)

There's still a tiny possibility that they just have sent the wrong boot kit to me... Let's hope that:inquisiti

If you don't mind, I am going to use the excellent photos in this thread to take this matter up with Camskill. I am hoping that they will remove these from sale for the VR-4 before any other members have the same issue.

I ordered the Blueprint one (ADT38153) from Camskill - fitted by the garage and no problems thus far.

This part certainly looked long and close enough to the original - I suppose time will tell.

I forgot that you got a Camskill one, Heath.

It's not the length that's the issue it's the fitment on to the cup as shown in the photos above. I certainly didn't trust it. And I know it came away on Kieran's car. I would certainly keep a close eye on it.

As you may have seen from my other thread, I have emailed Camskill direct about this now.

I will keep an eye on it. Although its difficult for me to detect clearly any leaks as we had rocker cover leak(s) for so long and there's still plenty of 'rust protection' down there.

I will be looking at it closely again later in the week when I fit the anti-squeal shims to the front Brembos (boy do they make your ears nearly bleed !) - fingers crossed they work or at least reduce the noise !?!?!?

You are more than welcome to grovel under my car at Brooklands if you are that way inclined !

You're welcome, Wayne.../yes There's no doubt that they are different... Looks the same, but if you'll measure it the difference is obvious :anxious:
