How many people have had their VR4 on the track m? Any tales to tell ?

My abiding memories are

1) It really brought home how crap the standard brakes are.
2) How well balanced the car is. Its grips and grips then drifts.
3) Just how fast you can corner - I had never approached the limits on the road, and I don't really know how close I was on the track on the faster sections. You can feel the AYC working for you.
5) The back end can get away from you exiting slower corners.
4) Perfect VR4 scenario is wet track, tight bend followed by fast up hill section.

You've just got to do it.

Oh, I forgot,

5) Melting the turbos.:Cry1:

I've had mine on track three times. Never had a problem with the standard brakes INSERT INTO post VALUES (late, hard braking is easier on them than normal road-stle braking) but the auto transmission was overheating and starting to give problems so I've given up tracks for the time being. I reckon better transmission cooling might cure the problem, but still deciding whether it's worth the effort. Been driving tracks since 1975 in a vast assortment of cars of differing capabilities - haven't stuffed one yet! :D
