Here is mine - installed by Newera - removed by me about a month later!! :D

It is working, although I can't comment too much on its quality - as the 'big' aerial lead was plugged into this, then into the head unit. But the head unit was a diversity jobbie, and the 'little' aerial lead was still plugged into the head unit too!! :speechles So mixed reception... (groan)

Bit of a newbie question here but i assume this is so u can pick up more radio stations because i think i'm in the same boat as the OP?

I assumed i could just change the head unit or do i need an "Expander"?

The FM radio stations on Japanese radio stop at 89.9FM so if you want to listen to 90-110 FM you have to "expand" the frequency receivable on your set and this is what an expander does. Now WODJN OP can listen to 93.5 Radio 4 whilst he's washing windows. He has a certain sense of priority methinks --fix the radio then the car.

Plenty on ebay. Powered ones are best. Just plug into the back of your unit.

How can you just loose a charger for so long ? my other half would have found it in one of HER private places or tripped over it and broken a nail or heel at least half a dozen tmes by now.
