Does this cable do more than a standard obd cable? Ie control ayc actuators etc?

It's just the standard cable Matt. It won't do the abs/ayc or ecu flashing

Ah ok fair do's. I've got a standard cable but i'd been Reading somewhere about a better cable that had extended functionality. I just wasn't sure if anyone had one, or if it actually worked! Cheers Peter :)

Why is it the best John?

Well the Tactrix v2 is the best cable ( openport v2 ) , but this one was an openport v1.3 which supports the flashing of ecu's etc
so if anyone from Russia had come through with a method then the chances are that you could have done it with this cable

Oh ok, so does this use the CAN connections as well as the standard K and L lines to do this flashing?

errr yeah i think so , it is the additional block of connectors
it takes the volatge to 16v from what i understand and this makes the ecu run in bootstrap mode

aye, but more to the point....it costs a lot more than the generic...hence my guilt
