most things for sale as parting out the Galant

Think of it in terms of having a complete automatic Galant VR-4 for parts, all original parts. (none of the modified parts will be for sale as they will be going into the new Galant)

Keen on the passenger side wheel arch if it is good, other than that I can't think of anything you won't want!

unfortanately, my laziness means that if anyone is willing to take the car without me having to disassemble it, they will get preference :P

I have a white facelift one? of course it has the cut outs for the arch flares... if you have to have it painted then of course you can have them filled in at the same time.

You still got some aluminium plates? If so, I would be keen on trying to make a couple of those out of aluminium. Will make you a set at the same time as payment if you like.

Yep, got heaps of Aluminium plates. I can probably drop them past on wednesday at either 9am or about 10:30am if someone will be home

If not, leave them around the back or something. Chances are that no one will be home after 9am, though I could hang around if I knew you would be there at 9.

Email me about it so this thread doesn't get clogged up :)

Just the lower section at the front which gets torn out and hits the wheel, which in turn destroys the plastic.

Dunno, haven't made any yet.

I would probably make them out of fibreglass too, except I don't have the gear/expertise for it.

I gave a set to my m8 to make up,but at $250 to make including black powder coating was a bit dear.

Don't dispair, it isn't over until the fat lady sings!

It all depends on if I get an offer that is reasonable when compared with the money I could make parting everything out.

The car has only 80,000km on the clock, and the engine pulled 191.9KW at the wheels when setup right :)

there are about 4 pieces. There is the rubber Y pipe that the MAF connects to, then one rubber pipe to the rear turbo, one rubber pipe which connects to the plastic pipe and finally the plastic funny shaped plastic pipe which connects to the front turbo.

Which bits do you want?

Engine Cover
Left-front monsoon window shield

How are the brake discs/rotors or whatever you call them?

Mine are apparently almost at the point where they are scrap, that might explain the noise coming from the front.

Not sure on disk thickness, I personally think you aught to get new disks though.

I have one on the new car which is that colour. It will eventually be going in favour of the Evo VII wing which I have, but I need to get that painted and stuff... so it might be a couple of months away :(
