Hi guys, got abit of a problem with my friends Galant, its a 1994 Galant Sport GT (2.0 V6 24v Twin Turbo) import...anyway, tonight the Alenator packed up on the car, i was just wonder if anyone knows weather or not that alenators on the normal 2.0 NA V6 or even an FTO are the same as the Twin Turbo's one?

It will depend on whether you have a 2 or 4 pin alternator but yes one from an FTO or Galant should fit if the plug is the same. You may have to change the pulley on the alternator though.

The 120 amp alternators on the Cold-Spec 8G cars have a habit of going pop and can be reconditioned for around £180 on exchange (I think that's what I paid). I can't imagine Mitsubishi radically redesigned the alternators between generations so I'd imagine it'd be a similar figure for your 7G :)
