Hi all i have run the engine in,turned boost up to 22 psi and no the clutch has decided to slip!!!!
Went up shaspear the weekend hoping to run but clutch slipping badley.
Prob is i am running 450+bhp at the mo i am runing a helix motorsport clutch evo 7 ,what i am asking is what does people on hear recomend runing as i have 4 weeks till next meet any help

Kevin I would go for any of the bigger evo clutches , something like an excedy carbon twin plate or the carbonetic twin plate

Nick Mann has some spaces so that you can use a evo flywheel and the longer bolts are available from mitsi

thanks mate will give him a pm, i run a evo flywheel and clutch i wonder if i need this so call spacer did not know of this.

yeah if you run a evo flywheel without the spacer then you need to psacer the starer away from the fly ring .

even on the evo's once you start going beyond 400 a badboy clutch is needed and if you want to use if for drags then carbon seems the best choice , maybe worth chat with Benh as he has destroyed more clutches than hot dinners with his 900+ bhp monster

I saw the car up there with Dazza, but didnt get chance to come over and have a look at it.

Im running an extreme KMI23014DSBMS

Which has held ok for 12 months of very hard launches. You will need the slightly harger diameter one, but the DSBMS range should still hold for you.

dazza told me about your throttle cable prob still dam quick for an fto

I use an evo 7 helix 6 puc at the mo but did not last long mind you been off car for 2+years !!!! trying to get good price sorted.
Are you there on the 17 may?
