WTB: VR-4 rear ABS ring

Hi Guys and girls, I am requiring your help trying to source a rear ABS ring for my 2001 gallant Vr4.
The ABS light has been flickering on and off for a few weeks and the ABS is also kicking in sometimes.
I have contacted my local Mitsubishi garage and they say I would require the whole outer CV joint......is this true???
I have looked over the net and came across ABS rings for an EVO....would these fit my VR4???

Is it damaged ?

I have some outer cups with the ABS ring on..

Mitzy will only sell the complete driveshaft at around £500 a pop :speechles

If yours is damaged and you go for the outer cup, you will have to split the driveshaft to fit the outer cup..

Yes the ABS ring is snapped/cracked causing an intermittent fault.

I have found a website that says that the Evo ABS ring will fit so I might give that a go before I spend £££'s..

the fto abs rings definately fit if that helps

Anyone know if the EVO rear shafts are the same as the VR4 ?

as far as im aware they're different glen. the joints may be the same though

I have just spoken to my local garage as my car was there for some accident repair a few months back and they are willing to repair it as it was that side that was damaged!!!......Great!!!
