Hello boys and girls, well i`ve converted over from a load of previous Toyota`s to the Leggy...

After doing some research and watching a lot of impressive video`s i decided it was time to sell the MR2 Turbo and go for something a little unusual, a street sleeper!... Its a 1997 P Plate in Grey/Purple.

Current mods are....

Turbo Timer
Adjustable Suspension (possibly tein????) this is what owner tells me!
Cat-Back Stainless Exhaust
17" OZ Titan`s

Car appears to be pretty much mint!, for the year...

Interior is also pretty damn clean!

Previous owner was a 55 yeard old bloke, who had the car imported from redline imports about 2 1/2 years ago.

since then its had its fluids changed regular and been serviced by yje same place since import.

Here are some pics.

haha, i just meant by the 55 year old bloke thing it wasnt a thrashed out heap!.

I did have a viewing booked for this...

but was not that confident about the car after chatting with the owner, i`m not 100% but pretty sure that no car is supposed to rattle for the first 2 mins of running....

as i was unsure and the one i DID look at pured from the first turn of the key, i ruled the white one out!.

Even tho i actually wanted a white one!

I originally wanted a white one too but went for a silver one from a well know club member.

Anyway, you got a good looking car there. Welcome to the forums and hope to see you at JapFest.

Haha - the rattling can just be the common irritation of the lash adjusters tapping a bit. Not a problem, just annoying! Not a fan of the tinted rear lights on the white one though...

As for the gauges and MBC, these are quite easy to fit yourself - I did mine!

There are excellent guides on the website to fitting these, and all sorts of other maintenance and modification work, which are available to full members.

Speaking of which, that could well be your second-best decision ever! :deal2:

I`ll be doing it, but TBH it did look a little long winded!!!

i take it thats £20 for the year?

With the gauges and MBC, i`d rather buy somebody some beers and know the thing wont blow up or catch fire on me!

also where do you guys mount your gauges? i want to fit a double din head unit, so a din mount is out of the question.

has anybody mounted the gauges where the clock is?

a few pople have done A pillar mounting and you can get 3 gauges on there. or a pod in the dash .

Anyway wecome to the club.

Not a gauge as such, but I've got my electronic boost controller instead of a clock - fits perfickly

Have a look at this thread: http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=32255

Best three-gauge-into-clock install ever. Not my bit, you understand, MarkSanne's.

Thats more like it!.

I was thinking of replacing the top panel with a curved lid going over the 3 guages...

or possibly just having the boost there and the oil temp/press somewhere else.

Thanks for the pic.
