COLOUR: Pyrinees Black
MILEAGE:115000Kms (71000ms)
R.F.L. EXPIRY DATE:Aug 2009
M.O.T. EXPIRY DATE:March 2010
PRICE: Offers around £2000
CONTACT DETAILS: PM me or 07925832253
DESCRIPTION: As originally posted, before the rules changed, clouted down the side by lorry, damaged passenger door, won't open, otherwise still merrily driving it each day. I don't have space or time to repair it, I work away from home all the time, I'm looking for a sensible offer on it, fixing it yourself would cost a secondhand door and some bodywork on the rear wing, near the door. As you can see from the photos I wasn't even on the road, photo is as is after lorry reversed back, I hadn't moved,
Otherwise just been MOT'd and that included a full fluid change, oil, ATF, AYC all Amsoil (except AYC, done at Mitsubishi dealer) I use the car to go to work each day and apart from a flat tyre (AND spare!!) have not had a problem in the 18 months I've owned it.

I still need to move this, check out #14 spares would be a good deal for someone. It's still got everything available. just no room to break it myself.

I'm in Devon, but can drive up to most places if needed.
The car is still taxed and mot'd and still drives perfectly just can't open the door and looks sad from the offside, looks great from the near side!!!! Otherwise it's been regularly serviced and fluids changed etc. nice sound system, good leather interior, anyone with mech.diy could fix it for a few hundred. I did say offers, around £2000
Sorry Miller Girlies weren't driving the lorry, shame, I would have happily negociated with them!!

Hi, leather is beige, other than a turbo timer, Nippon Denso Iridium plugs, HKS air system, and a CD changer in boot, sat-nav, radar detector, Nip Television, I don't think there are any other mods worth mentioning, but I will nip out and take some more pics and upload them.
Back in a while.

Right, let's see if we can upload some pics, they come off the mobile phone, and the car is in desperate need of a valet, just done a 400 mile round trip to Brighton, long way from Devon. The little white dots on the photos are not on the cars, they are sunspots or crap on my mobiles lens, specially the third photo down, didn't notice them til I uploaded.

Hi Guys,
it's the Devon Legnum back again, the tax expires end of July and insurance is due in three weeks, so I don't want to spend £500 or so and then find someone wants it.
I am open to offers on this, someone must want a load of parts, surely a club member is running a breakers yard for Leggies. Apart from the vallance and the door, the rest of the car is OK, I use it every day but I haven't got the time or the space to put it off the road and fix it, I have one parking space at my house so I would have to rent a garage. I need a car for work as I work all over the country,so this one has to go to make room for another one.
Someone make me an intelligent offer and I can deliver it and go home on the train.
If I had the space I would break it and make lots of lolly, just the engine must be worth £600 and same for the gearbox, there's £1200
E-mail me if you are interested, the address is at the top, if not it's into the wreakers yard.
Cheers Guys

I have merged your new thread into your old one as multiple threads for the same item is not ideal netiquette. :) Plus the old thread has pictures! :D

Only problem, the thread has died and the new one was to try and stir some sort of interest before I chuck it on the scrap heap, the idea was that someone just might want a new engine for their car, or gearbox or seats or something. I'm sure there are club members looking for parts, they can't all have perfect cars!!

So you just bump the original one!

And I would have thought someone would buy it for parts... :deal2:

Good luck!

Thanks, I would hate to dump it in the wreckers yard, but I have nowhere for it if I don't move it.

Hi Rambaud,
no , I haven't got quotes yet, I thought I would offer it on the club forum first, as a good opportunity for someone to use as parts on a re-build.

That would indicate that you don't think a repair is viable option?

Do you have any higher quality pics of the damage?

With regards to the mileage, does the car still read on the speedo in kilometers?

I presume at some point there was a changeover after import and therefore it should now read in miles? Therefore 115000k is probably more than 71000 miles. Any chance you could shed some light on what the mileage was when the car was imported?

Hi Rambaud,
not a repair option for me, I have no space, a gravelled parking lot is all I have, so I would need to put it into a body shop, expensive!! It's difficult just to change a wheel with the space I've got, 9 other cars park here as well, plus the weather factor while I'm doing it.

The speedo still reads in Kms. I never bothered to change it, I know the conversion speeds so?? and for those that don't 11500kms.=71,875miles.
I haven't got any better pics, but when I get chance I'll take some and also post the import mileage.
