It is certainly cheap!

I think that the mileage is higher than they are stating, because the speedo HAS been converted to MPH, so there's potentially four years' worth of UK miles on that odometer.

Looks relatively tidy though, apart from the obvious missing towing-eye cover and rear wind-deflectors.

And the usual '280 bhp' statement for a PFL auto... /pan

I wonder if the cambelt needs doing in the near future.

Likewise fluids.

If so, that is likely to be £600+?

Yes, if a major service is required as well as the cambelt, the cost could well exceed £1000.

for £1800, you'd really have to budget at least £1K to cover full service inc belts AYC, ATF etc plus what ever else may need doing - (worst case scenario of course) AYC pump? suspension bushes?

dosnt realy matter about the price £1800 or £3000 i think any 1 buying should be budgeting at least a £1000 for most of the cars on sale at the moment from wat i have seen most dont have very good historys if any so a belt change and a fluid changes should be the first thing on the priorites list its on mine

Other than members cars and cars with known club history - your quite right mate!

it doesnt take much searching to see new owners in the last 6 months that have bought bargains from ebay etc turning to the club with tales of cheap cars with patchy history then having gearbox / brake / AYC etc probs
