Calipers

Ok, so my thread disappeared in the balls up, but my calipers arrived and have been offered up.

Bad news is that they dont fit straight on, good news is that the mounting holes are exactly the right distance apart which means a bit of jiggery pokery should enable me to fit them. Probably wont do it just yet as I am kind of busy, but here is a teaser!

Well they will if I get 20" wheels and 400mm discs! So back on Ebay they go!! :D

I want to stick with the wavy discs cos they look :-b

But I think more braking effort in the form of 4 pots would be good!

In the interim I am going to get race pads and some DOT 5.1 brake fluid and see what happens.

Did you see the thread on here about the vr4 breaking and he had brembos for £650? I can't remember where it was and I've looked everywhere for it :rolleyes5 sorry :$ They look really nice-Marcus put mine on a couple of weeks back. Good job I got the bigger wheels though cos even with them on there's still only a gnats dangly between them and the wheel :sunny:

£650 is about £550 more than I want to pay! If I wanted to spend that much I would go the extra £300 and get KAD 6 pots like Simon! (although I would do it the BDA way and save some dosh!)
