hey guys,
Looking for ANOTHER manual box for my galant, had the original one replaced last year and now i suspect i need another.
The box started making alot of noise last week (almost like a scoring noise) between first and third gear so my first check was the box oil level.
The oil level was really low so topped it up with quite a bit of oil and its still making the same noise. perhaps being low has caused permanent damage?
Any ideas? The current box cost around £230.00 which i rekon will be cheaper than having someone repair it.
Any ideas or suggestions are welcomed.
ps; apart from the box everything else seems sound.
