I have a black Legnum but with tan leather. It's going very cheap as the gearbox is buggered. However, get that done and it'll be the monster it always was (people on here will confirm that it is more rapid than standard but they won't be able to tell you why!).

'said Nev. When I was looking for a car I travelled as far afield as Plymouth to Kirkcaldy finally buying one near York. I travelled by train, bus and hitched. And I was just looking for a car not one with a specific colour and slightly rare interior. You may be lucky and find one in Hampshire but if you want to own a car that is expensive to run you may need to widen your search somewhat an incur some expense to find what you want. But when you do you you won't stop smiling. Wish I'd found mine in Stirling--what a wonderful way to start a relationship a 450 mile drive together!

I only had to drive mine 4 miles home :(

So i took it on a 200 mile road trip instead.

The further the better, its fun, and like john/mev said you get to know the car. And any potential issues on the way.

Hi chaps

ive had a black type s for a while that ive been meaning to start improving on and use, but may sell it cheap to a member.

its not recaro's unfortunately, but it has just this week come out of Mitsi Nottingham from having the ASC and lower wishbone recall, so is starting to drive nicely again.

fully serviced with the belts about 1000mile ago, and generally ok all round, but not a split minter, yet!

needs a good home and someone with a bit more time than i have at the mo.

interested?

shrew

That one has beem mentioned already .The only thing that was queried was the state of the steering wheel and seat bolster compared to it's mileage I think

see what you mean

Steering wheel could be a smoker thing I guess.... I had one with that interior with half the mileage - known to be genuine - and the wheel was already discolouring.

With your very particular list of desires, it must be worth looking at!

Looks like a nice car, but no turbos. Depends on whether running costs is an issue, IMO. Also I think the V6 is more likely to depreciate further than the VR4.

It's a nice V6, but I'd not settle for one without turbos. My running costs are less than most though, because I do all my own work on the car.

Its looks as if its blue.

Its got a premium price tag. If its in A1 condition with a FULL history and drives true, it may be worth somewhere near that price.

(I think it's a bit expensive)

IMHO, with mileage of 120,300, it's too pricey - unless it is to accommodate an inflated part-ex deal. More like ~ £4500.

Now if they were to offer £3995 for my GDI. :)

ritch_w

yep - way too expensive at £6k, £3.5K - £4K would be more realistic with that mileage
Glass's value it at £2950

Sorry, I haven't.

But that does look like it may have been imported by Ebony & Ivory, from the reg and I think I can just make out their logo on the plate.
