Yup agree. Its a good move by the committee as the widows are always good sports and its nice to keep them close by, isnt it guys...? [he says in anticipation of future wife signing up as associate member] ;)

It is a very good thing... I have been the guinea pig for some time now and can say that I haven't have any issues with being an associate member.

Although I understand that the chat line at the top of the forum doesn't presently tell you when folks are in the chat room... A bit like lucky dip! :D

Edit: Steve, it has been agreed that there can only be one Associate Membership per membership number / household, so apologies that only one of you could apply......but thanks for raising the question as we needed to amend the wording to make it clearer.

That's alright Pete, i've put our names into a hat and the draw will be held by our neighbour on Saturday at 7pm, we'll let you know the outcome.

A PM to Jane would be a good start, but there is no automated application - they are all dealt with on an individual basis.
