Anyone know of a decent shop that can do this for $800 max?

Have been quoted $850-900 by Repco and around $900+ by Ohlsen Developments, but have heard that they are on the expensive side of the scale, compared to some others.

Got mine off a mates brother for $400 plus muffler. Makes you think about what kind of markup these shops are getting.

if you want you could try The muffler shop in hamilton, ive delt with them a few times and had very excellent prices, the last one was a full 2 1/2 exhaust from headers, including nice tip for $200

also has anyone had any trouble with over spooling the primary turbo when installing the 3 " exhasust system and what type of mufflers are giving the best sound?

Thanks

do you mean the front turbo? The wastegates are supposed to handle this of course, maybe upgraded wastegates would be an idea, but I doubt you'd need it.

Hey i've just got my VR4 a week ago and am modding it up pretty quickly with gimzo electronic boost controlla, blitz BOV, iridium plugs, 8mm leads, Pod etc.
The wagon's having a problem running even 12psi with it boost cutting, Lighting Motosport are doing all the mod's for me and we have narrowed it down to the coil packs (i hope). after that the 14.5 standard ecu will need to be re-wired or replaced.

What i was wanting to know is, does the 3in from turbo's create alot of lag and whats the best turbo upgrade for them?

I haven't had any difference in lag with my new exhaust setup, go into the performance section then look for my post. It does pull quite a bit harder at high revs as well.

i went to the muffler shop next to united video on the frankton round-about in hamilton and the kid there gave me a quote for an RPS Super-Turbo muffler with the catalytic converter being ditched for $240, seemed like a good price for a 15-20% poer gain, also the kid reckoned i already had a 2 1/2 inch on there, sid they come factory.
