Does anyone have or know where I can buy an airflow meter for a '97 VR4?
Already tried Charltons in Cambridge.

Send a messge to Richie Elliott - think he had a brand new one kicking around that be bought but did not need in the end - mind you I think it cost around £800!

Thanks for that, sent e-mail to him & hopeful of reply. If too pricey then might look into feasibility of remapping EVO airflow meter. Should be able to get one for around £80. Been quoted 450 + VAT from Mitsu but as usual theres a 10 day minimum wait for part to arrive. Does anyone know whether Mitsu offer an option to pay more for express delivery.

What's the part number of the AFM you need?...

Is this for the project? If so, at that money for an AFM, I would recommend ditching the AFM and moving to a fully stand alone engine management system with support for Manifold Absolute Pressure sensing instead of AFM as it gets rid of the restriction that the AFM imposes.

Calum, this has crossed my mind & to be honest with you I'm tempted. I'd still be looking at £1000 on top of the AFM price though.

10 days delivery time is express for Mitsubishi!!!.

I have been waiting 2 months for some little bits of rubber and they still are not here :(

How easy would it be to put them in a jiffy bag and Fed-Ex them? :rolleyes5

Many many thanks to Zentac.
Kempys are top people, helpful, know their stuff & very reasonably priced.
150 NZ$ (aprox. £52) + postage for AFM. Made my day. :D
