Poor Winning Turquoise!

The good news is that it will only cost me 1 hour of labour to fix :D Worse than that, I was showing the car off to someone. Had to go home in 1st, 3rd and 5th. /haz

Stupid selector cable rubber bushings!

I was man enough to post it up, I knew I'd get these responses. At least this problem is fixable with a couple of washers and a couple of bolts :D

Another manual box failure...

Too much power, too harsh treatment by the owners...?

But only a couple of washers and a couple of bolts...

Thank goodness...

Whhats that then... the second manual failure in a week? First my manual breaks down, now yours. These manual thinybobs are useless. Back to auto for me now :p

Agreed, at least you were man enough to take your panning. Good lad.

Er...though some of the responses should perhaps tell you something?

Chris - I was shifting between first and second as quickly as possible. It popped out of gear from second and went to neutral. I thought I had mis-shifted and went to third instead. I selected 4th a few seconds later and immediately knew what I had done and groaned.

I actually think that ginge is saving it to post up that he has finally finished the coupe, Kieran if your reading this, get to work, stop slacking or I wont wash my car untill your car is finished.

Brads failure I think is cancelled out for having such a winning colour on his car, so much win that the gearbox broke out of sheer orsum, winning colour plus a proper gearbox, good god if that car had black leather and the SVR4 kit on it, the orsum radiating from that car could divide by zero

however it is Brad and I am chuckling while reading this due to irony so /pan /pan /pan /pan

pppffttt, that is a bracket failure, not a gearbox failure.

Its like saying the auto box failed because you broke the centre button and was not able to get into drive :P

/haz at the thread!

No good in there that makes the STR less orsum

anything that doesn't cost to fix is not counted as a failure.

Maybe you should do a manual to auto conversion to get that all important reliability /Devil5

I do have an auto at home that I'm waiting to sell to someone whose auto dies. Tell ya what, if my actual gearbox (ie gears and stuff) explode before I sell it, then I'll do an auto conversion.

Just to prove that it will get annihilated in about a tenth of the time it took for the manual to have a small issue?
