wanted rear diff!!!!!!!!!!

some body help please...........

my rear diff has gone, the seal inside went, and the ayc fluids mixed, there is a very loud winneing noise, idnt knw if the bearings ahve gone.

mitsi said 2500 pounds for a new one

can anybody help, any1 breaking legnum?

also i need a sump, i have manged to crack mine, as the car is so low

mine is a p reg vr4, legnum chasis ec5w 000 8928

Sam speak to Peter @ Kempys www.kempys.co.nz he should be able to sell you a 2nd hand one and get it shipped over from NZ in about 3 days. Tell him Richard with the FTO-VR4 mentioned him and you might get a discount. Best time to phone him is about 9pm as hes just starting work then or use msn messanger. Not sure if he works Satudays though.

spoken 2 some1 from gbh motorsports in essex,
says he knows of the problem, occurs on evo's, he has designed a seal to put into the diff, only place in the country, as you cannot buy the internals for the diff.

Diff went on my VR4 last week and Mitsubishi quoted £3K.

I'm going to take it to GBH Motorsport to see what they can do, but I'm interested if you spoke to the guy in NZ.

If you did, was there any good news?

he said he has it in stock, $1480, and $56 for the sump unit, total of $1536, which is the same as £580, shipping is $510 which is £180, which will take 3 days, comes with 3 month warranty, not bad!, gna c what gbh says first, which ever is the cheaper, booked in 4 2weeks time.
