Hi all.

Had my Legnum for a week now, and very pleased with the overall performance. I am even lucky enough to have found one without a hint of a tappety noise on start up.

I do have an odd low speed wobble though, between about 25 - 50 mph, it seems quite random, ie not happening all the time. On small throttle openings only, I guess when the chassis / suspension is not under load. It cannot be felt through the steering, but through the chassis. My passenger has also commented on it. Kind of a low frequency resonance, I am struggling to describe it!

Anyone here had a similar problem? I do have workshop facilities at my place of work, but would be grateful if anyone can tell me what to look for.

Cheers from Carl

if not felt thru steering - possibly rear wheels need balancing?

Sticking handbrake?

low tyre pressures. Get them up to about 34psi, I'm guessing they'll be in the low 20s if you're feeling the wobble.

is it an auto?

seach for vibration and auto box.

Cheers all.

Have checked tyre pressures, they are all good.

Handbrake not sticking, car rolls easily.

It is an auto, and due a service anyway, so I will see if replacing the atf makes a difference.

As confusis says, if rear wheels aren't balanced, you'll feel it through the whole chassis...

try swapping front wheels for rear wheels :)

Have now had the car up on a lift, had all suspension components looked at, can find nothing amiss. Had rear wheels removed and balanced, with absolutely no change to symptoms.

So all ready to go ahead with auto box flush and refill with amsoil.

Check your Power steering fluid. Changing mine did no end of wonders for the feel of the steering.

Thought the tyre pressures were ment to be
28 rear
30/32 front
