Saw the puff of smoke on my clip but yours is a better angle - seemed as I pulled away then nothing on the rest of the run ? Any ideas as at Japfest I was getting the same, but under braking not accelerating ?

At japfest the smoking occurred after breaking then booting the throttle again mate...the more I think about it and I think Andy at AP just confirmed it, its just overfueling... ;)

Any thing I can do about it ? Remove the induction and replace as standard ? Change the ECU for a 280Ps one ? Or ultimately will I have to either live with it or get an uprated ECU that can be mapped ?

How about a programmable piggyback ECU like the e-manage. Not too expensive (purchase & setup for approx £800).

'twas a pulsar !! but in my defence, I launched, he didn't. my reaction time was 1.9 secs. he also probably had more bhp than me, & pulsars weigh about the same as a box of tissues !! :rolleyes5

A couple of my mates have GTi-Rs, both rated around 300BHP [those of you at the rolling road will have seen them !] and slow is not a word I would ever use for one of these :rolleyes5

According to the MOT chart at work they weigh around 1200 kilos :lipsrseal
