My new play thing. Picked it up last night. Only reason I bought it, was, it was an
absolute steal. Might not keep it long as it could be bit of earner (Somerset's
answer to Ar'fer Daley)/bat :flamed: :evil2:

enjoy the car, they are good cars.
however my brother had one and when he drove my VR4 he could believe how much more comfortable and civilized it was compared to his scooby.

It's a bit of fun to drive but don't see it as long term ownership. I've done big and comfortable (I've been married many years/pan ) Thought I'd try something young and slim. As for the bug eyes......... you don't look at the "mantle piece" when stoking the fire:speechles:D

doesn't take much to get them quicker than a VR4....a LOT quicker.....scoobs are good cars, and the bugeyes are a bit of an aquired taste...if you ignore the headlights, it's actually quite a good looking car.

Have to say it does seem a fair bit slower the manual VR4 but not my old tippy one.
If I keep it I'll get Eurospec to breath on it:eurospec:

The lights an acquired taste, a bit like Marmite......................................I don't like Marmite either.

OMG, someone made the headlights on it look even uglier than stock!

I think it looks better than a standard bugeye.

However, the Legacy was always the subaru for me...

It's growing on me/Hmmm ............Been blatting around the lane's last night and this morning and it's very nimble. Power's picked up a bit......... now I've blown the cobwebs out/rally. Have to say I'm not a big fan of the front end either but I do prefer the "bug eye" look to the "blob eye".:dizzy2:

i took a version 8 out for a test drive last sunday and it was SO quiet on idle that i had to keep checking that the engine was actually on lol

I guess it's a version 7 "2002" WRX. Have to say the Boxer engine is very quiet
and rev's very freely up the the red line with no drama, clatter or other untoward noises.
