sub woofer housing in galant?

changing the rear speaker in a galant vr4 i noticed what looks like a built in housing for a sub on the underside metal of the parcel shelf..
anybody else got this or used it?

yep, mines got a factory sub in it just a little 8" i think it is

i just go the car 2 weeks ago..so still finding out about it.
theres a few connectors near the sub housing ..wonder if thats for it.

That connector is for the optional rear window wiper (which I would love to have).

i don;t think it is as i got a rear wiper on mine.. i'll have to take a pic and upload it
