No red AYC light.

I've been reading about the red AYC light on here.
Question is, do all VR4's have this light?
Mine doesn't have one, or has the bulb gone, been removed.
I looked in the resource library and found a pic of the dash with no red AYC.

Knowing my luck, it's been removed because it's lit, but AFAIK the AYC works fine.

The red AYC light is bottom right of the dash. It should light up and then go out with ignition as the system does a self check. If your green lights are working on cornering then stop worrying, as when the red ayc light is lit your AYC and therefore green bars do not work.

Thanks Nick, must be the bulb blown then.
I'll replace it when I can be bothered to take the dash out, seems like a big job.

Removing the dash is actually fairly straightforward.

I had no red AYC light in my white car when I got it. But the AYC was working fine (as indicated by the three green bars). Took the clocks out and found that the bulb was missing. Replaced it, turned on the ignition and everything worked as expected :)

Hopefully, you will find the same.
