Onboost! (http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/member.php?u=56416) mentioned a vote for an Auckland meet as well as the Megameet in Taupo (http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/showthread.php?p=463510#post463510), which at this stage looks like happening in November.

Anyone else for a local and cheaper meet in Auckland - Possibly Saturday 26th September?

I posted at the end of the flashing thread under the performance section, but it would be great if someone could bring along an OpenPort 2.0 cable and let me test to see if I can reflash the RVR - if I manage to bring it, of if we can arrange a time to meet up so I can test it...My OpenPort 1.3U cable cannot flash the ECU, ECUFlash 1.42 says it does not provide enough current to flash H8 processor-based ECUs. It's a 7202F....Would be HUGELY appreciated :D

IMO Maccas Greenlane would be better due to the space. Some days Quay st can be busy and not ideal for the large sedans and estates.
Gone are the days of the gravel pit meet up point.

Yup, fair enough. Would probably attract the wrong kind of attention. Motorway is ok, but not great - people tend to get a bit split up due to traffic etc. At least that was my experience from the last cruise I was on. YMMV.

Ryan and I dug into the gravel and took off straight pretty much, no sideways skid towards the powerpole - Looked Impressive/notworthy . Wasn't watching OnBoost! as a civilian car was coming after me.
