Pity about the wood gear shifter, dash and steering wheel. Ohh and the colour!

Hard to find a 2002 manual though.

Yeah, i thoight it was a weird combination for a later model which has Flares, but no moon roof or recaro's. Wounder if it has ayc ?

It looks like it has the Type-S dash, so looks like it has AYC.

I know that Ryan's black one is the same spec as that one...

all manual legnums have ayc

i beg to differ there Sir!!!!

i have bought and wrecked 2 Facelift 2001 and 2000 VR4 Lenums that did NOT have ayc but instead open diff.. thus they dont have the high viz dash either, just the plain jane ...

the one in the yard with the last manual conversion kit has exactly that, but its a galant tho,but dont think this makes any difference and its a 2000 model

All face lift manual Galants are type V, so would have an open diff not ayc.

Interesting about the Legnum though.

Ahh, but were those facelift legnums automatics originally? (or still automatics when you pulled them apart)

I thought the facelift Type V's had an LSD not an open diff ?

Edit: Nope never mind, I found the answer... no they don't.

Yep, open only

I find that strange.... My 7G has an LSD, so why not have one in the 8G ?

do you still know the chassis number or number plate?

Goku - the high spec cars had AYC and the Type V was supposed to be as cheap as possible, hence the open diff.

Went down and had a look at this yesterday. Its a very very nice car, body is straight as! Only a little scratch on the front bumper, I couldnt find anything wrong with the interior, only the wood centre console.
It has ayc aswell and had the rally art shocks in it which makes it sit fairly low.
still a little expensive considering you prob have a clutch to do soon, cambelt, and new set of rotors and pads.
The owner of the yard was great, said he had had lots of intrest in but apparently to pricey!
