3 weeks ago I had never heard of a Legnum, never mind a VR4. [sorry]

Then I saw a friend's new car, when the bonnet opened I gasped,
"Wow, I want one !"

Last night a silver VR4 arrived on my drive. I haven't even sat in the driving seat, yet. I'll be phoning my insurance company first thing in the morning and shall drive down to pick up my cover-note moments later.

Huge thanks to fellow CVR4 members steelie600 and zedy1

Brilliant all rounder and excellent first performance car choice.

As long as it's cheaper than running a 4.6 range rover I'm happy!

Must admit driving it back to Andys from Mo's "Zedy1" was fun. All credit to Mo he undersealed the car for Andy, he just got quite a bit on the exhaust. It made a good smoke screen for a few miles LOL

With thanks to steelie600, most aspects of servicing have been done. [engine oil & filter, fuel filter, complete brake fluid replacement, coolant, front & rear diff fluids are all fresh.]

Found a receipt for spark-plugs, dated August 08, as well as the certificate for the Cat1 alarm. Swerved a few quid there, I'll bet./Banana

Absolutely loving my new car, it's the only non-two wheeled transport I've owned that I get an adrenaline rush from ! [Land-based, that is. I had a 650 Kawasaki jet-ski that was a buzz.]

Back to the point, here she is ;

Nice - can't wait to pick mine up in two weeks now. Hope your dog is enjoying it's new mode of transport as much as you?

steelie600,

Yes but he was listening to check the hydraulic-lifters for me :rolleyes4

gareth,

I don't think he's as impressed with the leather seats as I am. I'm dreading the moment when he realises he'll be able to stop sliding around by using his claws for grip !
At least (with being automatic) he has a warning to hold on tight, very tightly, as it roars into action.

hprulz,

Thanks. Is 'hp', in your forum name an acronym for Hewlett-Packard? lol, it can't be hire-purchase . . . it's gotta' be stallion stamina, cool.

Thanks for the pics, Pedro and I'm pleased to meet you [albeit in cyberspace.]

I knew she'd been a member's car by the window stickers. Yes, zedy1 was a very nice chap to deal with and very knowledgeable. Not to mention, first having one 12 years ago!

Even hiding the number plate, I guess the 17" wheels were a bit of a give-away for you?

She says she'll miss you but likes her new home as it's still close to the sea :smitten: :smitten:
