ignition wire help needed urgently

I have just put an alarm in my legnum evevrything works fine except car wont starts. it starts to wind over then cuts out. Rand mongoose they said the ignition wire to alarm is not staying live while car is cranking over and I need to find one that does. Can anybody please point me to a wire that becomes live with first click of key and stays live while trying to start the car :bigcry: :bigcry: :givemebee

yeah the guy from mongoose had told me to cut a wire. i wired that wire back up and hey presto away she goes so alarm working sweet as and turbo timer is as well.
