hey dudes,

Just got a good deal an twin GT28R of an R33 GTR skyline.
Do they fit ?

They are almost new Less then 500km on them.

They guy is changing them because he is at the limit of horsepower that the turbo's can supply so he is changing them for a single one.

Can i use these?
Meaning yeah I know I need to fab some adapters for the stock headers and some other stuff but will it fit between the engine and the firewall ?

I don't think anybody has tried it.....so you're on your own.

TD04s are a similar size and can be persuaded to fit....but they mate up to the manfiolds. I think once you've got adapters in there you're going to struggle for space. Might be easier to fab up some manifolds?

Custom manifolds are the only way your getting them to fit im afraid. There are a limited number of people who have actualy put bigger twin turbos on and run them.

Its an absolute pain in the arse, and quite expensive, but it would be worth it.

Are they gt28/71's?

Wel if the deal goes thru I will be swapping them in time. Just have to save for an standalone ECU.

The turbo's are GT28/60 dual ballbearings

but lets see how it goes.

just need to save for the standalone ecu

Or is it easier to put an single turbo???

I have from my other car an GT40/T3 turbo

Generally easier to go for a single turbo. Or MHI turbos, which mate up to the manifolds. Or make your own manifolds as above.
