after goign broke payign my stupid assed str off slightly faster.... I got it down to about 2700 owing..

so I scouted tardme... and found a few vr4's i like..

one which i wanted but loans officer said nope.

so i found this... 5 grand.

Mitsubishi Legnum VR4 **MANUAL**
-2.5L
-Twin Turbo
-Enlarged aftermarket front brakes
-5 Zigen full exhaust system
-Adjustable suspension all round
-Aftermarket stereo system
-Boost, Water temp, Oil pressure Gauges
-OZ Racing 17 inch rims
-BOV
-Cert for adjustables and brakes!


looks like this.. not overly happy with the landing wing tho,.

That's not a VR4 front bumper there.

yeah i would be concerned about it because of the bumper - probably had a bit of a frontal

One can't make out the "enlarged aftermarket" front brakes too well either.

yeah i would be concerned about it because of the bumper - probably had a bit of a frontal

Maybe the guy that had it before just liked the front bumper. I like them myself. You get them on some V6 models.

my str had that bumper - some do have the vr4 style bumper

There was an update in mid 97 when they changed ST-R's to the VR-4 style bumper. Viento 1.8 GDI's also had the PFL VR-4 bumper, all other non VR-4's had the style of bumper above.

well guys this is how i see it..

lets say it oringially had a vr4 bumper.. guy puts on adjustable coils... hits a speed bump a little to hard after slamming his car... ruins vr4bumper.. then replaces with new bumper which appears none vr4..

I did talk to the guy... it was on it when he got it.

Hits a little speed bumper, damages FMIC... don't forget to check out that possibility too.

aww man i dont need to read that lol..

car is fine a lil rough nothign major just needs a tidy up..

so you guys recond i should replace it with a vr4 front bumper?

yeah.. he also said came as it is.. but cert plate says bigger rotor disk on front.

at first i thought he meant brake pad clamp thingies.. but nope says bigger brake disk.

she needs a lil tlc but nothing i aint prepared to do..

Sure thing... I will take a cam pic of the cert plate and the disc. will also measure it to the best of my ability.. anyone know the nrmal measurement?

Standard front disc is 296mm.

ok i just ran outside... man its ferkign cold... nippilicious weather for sure.
and its begining to rain.

the lv cert says bigger disks and breaks.. I am not sure as as a rough measure they looked about 300ish.

will try for a pic tomorrow.
