Hey guys,

My name is Wes and as of 5pm today, I am now a proud owner of a white facelift legnum!

Anyways, unfortunately I've already hit a problem. The fuse for the auto keeps blowing. We're talking the one which does the lights on the dash for the gears and when it blows, you get stuck in 3rd...

I've only owned the car for a matter of hours, and it has happened on these random occasions...
1. Shifting from Park to Drive
2. Shifting through the gears in tiptronic
3. Fanging it in D from the lights

May I add it was raining light/med and I had the bonnet open for a little bit whilst inspecting it....

Any thoughts guys? It's a pretty significant problem and a little alarming since I just bought the car...!!!

Hey guys, I managed to get into diagnostic mode and got the following:
ABS 21 Wheel-Speed Sensor (FR) System
AYC 41 TPS system (short or break)
Would either of the above be related to my transmission light fuse blowing problem? Is TPS the throttle position sensor?

Thanks guys!

Wes

Hey guys,

Well, it has taken ages for me to attend to my Legnum...

BUT, I believe the problem has been fixed! Turns out it was some wires that were rubbing against the metal bracket around the air filter area as discussed in this thread:

Thanks to everyone for your help - much appreciated!
