Std boost question 4 the heavy mods guys

Hiya Peeps
Can someone please give me a definitive answer on the question of what is the std boost figure for the 280bhp Legnum.... I have had answers ranging from 0.5bar to 0.95bar to sorry we can't answer that from a mitsy dealer... :dozey: (I should have known better than to ask there anyway) if anyone can answer this I guess Dave can.. what abaout it Dave..... :headsc:

I don't know the answer to this either. My guess is .6 bar. I think .95 is approaching maximum 'safe' modification, so it must be less than that.

Any more guesses before someone in the know tells us all?

I always thought it was 0.7 bar, can't recall where I read/heard that though :$

7 psi is about average on most turbo charge cars I have had.

0.65-0.7 bar

Mine runs 0.65 Bar, (or 500 mmHG as the gauge reads :D ) and its a standard auto.

Round about 0.7 bar is standard, however every ECU is slightly different so if you fit a boost guague it can register from 6.5 to 7.5 bar any more/less and theres either something wrong or something has been modified !!

Just checked mine today on stock boost. Sat flat at 8psi.
