speed sensor

i am right in thinking that this is the gearbox speed sensor

the second item was inserted into the first on the ralliart f/l gearbox?

I| don't think thats a gearbox speed sensor - not an auto one anyway....

Yeah the top picture does look like the speed sensor when it has been removed , not 100% sure on the clip thing but it could be

I know exactly what these are as I jusr changed mine :)

The first pic is the speedo sensor which site at the rear of the Gbox, under the intake elbow.
The second pic is a ralliart item which is the KPH to MPH convertor, if you remove it and plug the harness straight into the sensor your speedo will read in kpm.
My speedo started jumping eraticaly and I found the convertor you have as the problem, I got a £25 from ebay, (not like the ralliart one, but it does the same job,, and you wire it in in the same place as the ralliart one.
