Time to move onto bigger(Well smaller) and better things.

This is a full quite powerful pc system, small enough to fit in a car.
only 6 months old, 6 months warrant left.

http://i27.tinypic.com/312cx7t.jpg

HERE (http://www.carcomputer.co.uk/shop/car-computer-systems/midrange-system-3) is a link with full details of the system, It's got the WIFI, Bluetooth, CCTV Capture Card and a GPS receiver.

And HERE (http://www.carcomputer.co.uk/shop/in-dash-monitors/lilliput-gl701-tv-c-touchscreen-2) is a link to the indash monitor.

Some PC specs:
Intel Atom 1.6GHz DUAL CORE, 2GB RAM, 120GB HDD
BLUETOOTH (INTEGRATED)
WIFI (INTEGRATED)
GPS RECEIVER (WIRED)
CAR CCTV CAPTURE CARD
intelligent automotive power supply(turns on/off with the car)

Monitor specs:
1 DIN Indash 7" motorized touchscreen VGA monitor
tv & radio tuner
Reverse camera & AV inputs
Resolution 800x480 (native), 1280x1024 (maximum)

Extras i've installed on top of what i bought:
Small Bluetooth Keyboard
Small Wireless mouse
Extra Usb ports for any other accessories

Installed Software(I have all install packages & cd's, drivers ect..)
Evoscan Software & 1.3 Cable
Mitsubishi ASA(CAPS) Software
ECU Flash
Windows xp corporate edition
Centrafuse

I am NOT including any cameras, these will have to be bought separately.
You can use any camera, even a cheap digital photo camera that has an av out lead(i.e. for hooking to a tv to view the pictures), the capture card will record the live feed from the viewfinder.

If you want you could buy a sound card to replace the cctv card to run a 5.1 or even 7.1 sound system, or a wintv or similar card for digital tv in your car. It's a standard pci card slot, so you can use any pci card you want(or none at all).

Installation is simple, only 3 wires, 12v constant,12v switched and a ground wire are all you need, for the pc. And the monitor is a headunit, couldn't be easier. The computer can be put anywhere, in the boot, under the seat, mine is in the dash(some modification required)

€500 For Everything. (Plus about €50 to send it wherever you are)

Don't mind all the wires, The three in the white block are the power wires for the computer.
The yellow wire coming out of the computer is a regulated 12v to power the headunit.
All the others are for my cameras and other accessories.

Good price for the PC.
I've got the Lilliput screen and it may pay to shop around for this. I got mine from the USA for £212 (+£15 import duty). It's a nice screen but it doesn't seem to be able to remember exactly the angle at which it has been set: very often it will flip back too far and press the Auto button on the heater. grrrr!
Did you have any problems installing the screen? Mine had no usable mounting points on the unit or the cage that came with it.
You may want to consider wiring a switch into the PC's power supply so that you can reboot it in case of Windows locking up. I did this and it's invaluable: not always appropriate to switch off the ignition to reboot the PC.
I find the Centrafuse software is pretty good once you get to grips with where everything is. I bought the version without sat nav maps and acquired a set of UK/Ireland Destinator V7 maps which work perfectly well with Centrafuse. Their sat nav option on purchasing Centrafuse is ridiculously priced IMO.
Definitely a worthwhile upgrade. Happy computing!

Yea there is a switch, (can be seen beside the yellow wire coming from the computer, beside the status lights.)

As for mounting there are 2 screw holes that line up with the stock bracket, and yes hitting the auto button is a bit annoying.

Yea i have the same maps on mine, routing is poxy for Ireland though.

Yea there is a switch...
I meant something a bit safer to use, like this (but my PC is in the boot so my arm wouldn't reach.) I should have thought a bit more about your setup!:embarasse

They must have changed the design of the Lilliput because mine had no screw holes whatsoever!

Do you have a roll cage installed in your VR-4?! :)

And if I had the money I would buy that car PC :)

Lost the sunvisors due to the top bar.

I also have a switch for cutting the switched power to the pc, will cause it to shutdown if it's started and will prevent it starting up with the ignition, if i'm only going on a short trip. i've never had to use the reset switch though, it's well behaved.

For some reason I thought you were indicating that you had just bought this system and were sharing your find with the club.
I now realise that you are trying to sell your carPC.
Bearing my misinterpretation in mind, please disregard any inappropriate comments I may have made e.g. 'Why don't you fit an on/off switch'; 'shop around for the screen' duh!

My appologies.

Cool, how much did that cost to get installed?

If you don't mind me asking :)

It was in the car when i bought it. so i've no idea of cost.

it think it is THIS (http://www.rhdjapan.com/jdm-low/Cusco-Safety-21-8-Point-Roll-Cage-31195) cage without the diagonal above the rear strut brace.

It is a solid cage, no movement/squeeks at all. I recon it was built/designed for the VR4 because of how snug it fits.

It looks like you got yourself a weapon there with all the goodies installed/fitted. A real sleeper as it looks standard from the outside..

Would you split the base unit from everything else?

i'd sell all the pc parts separate from the headunit. €350 for the pc/evoscan cable & serial number for updates to software/gps receiver ect.. + cost of postage(if over €25 euro i'll cover the rest).

i have a friend who wants to buy the headunit alone, i'm not selling it to him till i sell everything else, or sell everything together.
