I've put my name forward as 2nd events co-ordinator. If this is accepted at the meeting, I'd be happy to do it.

I think it may be worth having regionalised club reps. South, North, Scotland perhaps as what is convenient for some is maybe not for others. I think there should also be a co-ordinator for the one off bobby bargains!

With such an open meeting I think the agenda will only form a very rough basis for discussion. I expect that topics discussed and positions decided upon will escalate greatly!

Dave, are you saying that you'll take us places we've not even dreamed of? :rolleyes5

Think you are right, though. If two heads are better than one, how much will a dozen come up with??!! Even more if I can figure out how to communicate with the on-liners.

Easy - Club VR-4 java chatroom, then have it on a notebook or something, so we can all see it...

Assuming you've got a wireless card and an AP?

I have a normal tower case style pc. It does have a TV out. It is not portable (easily!) and is definitely not wirefree! My internet connection is BT broadband, so needs to be plugged in to the phone line.

Please bring anything that will help!

Appreciate that Dave, was just a reminder so people not attending could get an idea/topic discussed at the meeting

maybe you guys at the meet could post ideas, item's,Q+A's every hour or so,and the guy's with an interest (i'm 1) can log on and add any positive in-put to what ever is posted?
just an idea,as when chat room's are used..some time's it look's like you are answering some thing just asked but you are really answering an item from 3 question's before? (i hope you know what i'm on about :rolleyes5 )

I think the ClubVR-4 chat room will be the best way to go. Maybe it should work like this...

1. discuss ideas between us at Nicks
2. When we've got some important points, type them into the chat window
3. Wait about 10 mins whilst people such as Ian, Brian, Yan, etc, etc. reply.
4. Decide on outcome of point after reviewing everyones opinion, and confirming with the online peeps.

Any other ideas?
