DESCRIPTION:
Well this Day had to come sooner or later, after all the hard work of turning the leggy from the slowest most gutless car on the forum into perhaps the rarest it has come time to sell it :(
For those who don't know the story, this car started life as a 1.8 GDI fwd legnum. which i suppose was ok, but it was hard work to drive due to the autobox and gutless 1.8 gdi engine which was designed to use 100 octane jap fuel. soon plans were afoot to convert the car to V6 power. well after the purchase of said uk spec V6 power and manual gearbox the conversion was completed after a few months and troubles.
During the conversion every fluid in the car was changed along with every belt including the timing belt and water pump. it was also fitted with a brand new exedy fast road clutch.
It comes complete with the 1st ever set of Carbotech pads ever fitted to a Galant/Legnum and 294mm Mintex grooved discs with braided hoses all round. The rears have also been converted from drums to uk spec rear discs. The suspension is eibach -40mm springs with koni adjustable Dampers.
It is also fitted with UK spec glass headlights with electric adjustment, UK spec cruise control (fully working) It also had a new set of falken tyres fitted 1500 miles ago at a cost of 380 quid
Now the bad bits, the pigment on the bonnet in places has faded, don't know why, and neither does the local body shop who have never seen this happen to any other mitsu. Also the missus has decided the rear bumper needed remodelling, i have been told this will push out quite easily and the paint will only take a bit of sorting, The rear arches have just started to show signs of british winters, but nothing too badi was gonna get these minor niggles sorted but I didn't bother in the end.
some recent picture are HERE (http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=42602)
I will sort some more pictures out this weekend.
